Chocolate Cookie Sheet Cake

Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 1 cup water
  • 3 tablespoon cocoa powder
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 teaspoon burnt sugar flavor (optional)

  • 1 stick butter
  • 6 tablespoons milk
  • 3 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon burnt sugar flavor
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 box powdered sugar

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350*

  2. In large bowl, mix together flour, cinnamon sugar, and salt; set aside

  3. In saucepan, mix butter, oil, water, and cocoa powder; bring to boil then pour over flour mixture & beat well

  4. In a small bowl, mix vanilla, burnt sugar flavor, eggs, buttermilk, and baking soda.

  5. Add second mixture to fir mixture and pour into greased or waxed cookie sheet with sides


  6. In saucepan combine butter, milk, cocoa powder; melt but do not boil

  7. Add burnt sugar flavor, vanilla, and powdered sugar; beat until smooth

  8. Spread frosting mixture on hot cake
