Mexican Curry

Cook time: 60 minutes
Serves 10 people

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lbs ground beef
  • 1 large onion-chopped
  • 2 minced garlic cloves
  • 1 large can tomato sauce
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp Accent
  • 2 cup cooked rice
  • 4 cup water
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1 1/2 tsp cumin seed
  • 1 Tbsp sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt
  • Frito (corn) Chips

Directions

  1. Brown beef and and onion; drain.

  2. In a large pan, add remaining ingredients and mix well.

  3. Add beef and onion mixture and simmer for 1 hour, stirring occasionally to keep from sticking.

  4. Cook rice and add to boiling mixture.

  5. Serve hot over bed of corn chips.

  6. Top with lettuce, tomatoes, shredded cheese, taco sauce and or sour cream.
