Serves 4 people

Ingredients

  • 1 large potato
  • 2 cup flour
  • water
  • salt
  • chili powder
  • cilantro (washed and chopped)
  • oil
  • lemon juice

Directions

  1. Make a soft dough with flour and water, cover it and keep it aside. Optional: add salt

  2. Boil potato

  3. Peel potato and crush it

  4. Add chili powder, cilantro, oil and lemon juice according to taste and mix it thoroughly

  5. Separate dough into 12 parts.

  6. For each part, knead it into a ball. Then make a depression in it and fill it up with roughly a tablespoon of the potato mixture. Cover the potato with the dough from the sides. It should now look like a bigger ball with potato stuffed in it. Try to cover all the stuffing with the dough

  7. Using flour, roll each ball into round “parantha”, about 5-6 inch in diameter

  8. Pan fry these on the pan using oil on each side
