Baked Parsnips

Cook time: 50 minutes
Serves 4 people

Ingredients

  • 4-5 parsnips, peeled and sliced 1/4 in. thick
  • 2 T. butter
  • 1-1 1/2 c. whipping cream or canned milk
  • salt to taste

Directions

  1. Layer parsnips with butter in a greased baking dish.

  2. Pour whipping cream in to fill about half way up parsnips.

  3. Sprinkle with salt.

  4. Bake in 350 degree oven for 40-50 minutes, until parsnips are fork tender and golden brown.
