Spicy Smothered Venison

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 Lb. venison round steak
  • Flour
  • 2 Tbsp. oil
  • 1 4-oz. can mushrooms
  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped
  • 2 Tbsp. green pepper, chopped
  • 1/3 cup chili sauce
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp. celery salt
  • 1/4 tsp. onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • sliced, stuffed or ripe olives
  • 1/4 cup water

Directions

  1. Cut steak in serving pieces; roll in flour.
  2. Brown thoroughly on both sides in oil.
  3. Place meat into baking dish.
  4. Combine remaining ingredients in skillet; heat to boiling.
  5. Pour over meat; cover. Bake at 350 degrees for about 1 hour and 30 minutes or until meat is tender.
