Ingredients
- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 1/3 cup butter, melted Plus 1/4 cup butter,
- divided use
- 1 egg
- 3 cups miniature marshmallows
- 2/3 cup light corn syrup
- 2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1 ( 11 to 12 oz.) bag peanut butter chips
- 1 jar salted peanuts
- 1 1/2 cups crisp rice cereal
Directions
- Heat oven to 350 degrees.
- Combine the cake mix, 1/2 cup melted butter, and the egg in a mixing bowl and mix well. Press mixture into the bottom of a 9 × 13 inch baking dish.
- Bake 15 minutes. Remove from oven and immediately sprinkle with the marshmallows; set aside.
- In a saucepan, combine corn syrup, the remaining 1/4 cup butter, vanilla extract and peanut butter chips. Stir over medium heat until chips are melted.
- Spoon over the cake. Allow cake to cool before serving.
