Cheesecake Crescent Rolls

I decided to change this up a little, since it turned out a little too thick the first time.

Ingredients

  • 2 cans crescent rolls
  • 2 8 oz. pg. cream cheese, softened
  • 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • cinnamon sugar

Directions

  1. Unroll and spread 1 can of crescent rolls in bottom of a 9×13 baking dish.
  2. Combine softened cream cheese, 1 cup sugar and vanilla. Spread over crescent roll layer. Unroll and layer remaining rolls over cream cheese layer. Melt butter and spread over top of rolls. Sprinkle generously with cinnamon and sugar.
  3. OR spread cream cheese mixture on top of each crescent roll, and then roll it up and place in the baking dish side by side using both cans of rolls.
  4. Melt the butter, add the cinnamon and sugar until you have a thick sauce. Spoon this over the rolls, trying to cover all as much as possible. You may need to add a little more ingredients for this.
  5. Then bake for 20-30 minutes at 350 degrees. until bubbly and slightly browned. Drizzle with a little honey; if desired. let cool a few minutes, slice and eat or serve individual rolls drizzled with honey and dusted with a little powdered sugar if desired.
