Soy-infused Chocolate Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 cup evaporated milk
  • 1 pound sugar
  • 1/4 cup corn syrup, lite
  • 4 oz unsweetened chocolate, coarsely chopped
  • 2 oz semi-sweet chocolate, coarsely chopped
  • 6 Tbsp butter
  • 2-3 Tbsp Kikkoman soy sauce
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Directions

  1. In double boiler, over low heat, whisk together evaporated milk, sugar and corn syrup until sugar melts.

  2. Turn off heat; add chocolate and butter.

  3. Stir constantly just until chocolate melts and butter is incorporated.

  4. Stir in Kikkoman soy sauce and vanilla.

  5. Chill.
