Sauteed Brussel Sprouts with Lemon and Walnuts

Ingredients

  • 1 Lb. Brussels sprouts, trimmed
  • 2 Tbsp. unsalted butter
  • 1 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup coarsely chopped walnuts
  • 1/4 tsp. coarse salt

Directions

  1. Cut Brussels sprouts into halves lengthwise. With the flat side down, slice each half crosswise into 3 or 4 smaller sections and separate leaves. Discard the ends.

  2. In a large sauté pan, melt butter over medium heat. Add sprouts and cook, stirring, 7 to 8 minutes, until lightly browned and tender.

  3. Transfer sprouts to a large serving bowl and add lemon juice, walnuts and salt.

  4. Per Serving: 150 cal., 11g fat, 15mg. chol., 5g prot., 11g carbs., 5g fiber, 170mg sodium
