Fail-safe Asian Salmon

Really delicious, will impress family and friends

Cook time: 20 minutes
Serves 6 people

Ingredients

  • whole salmon fillet (about 1 kg)
  • 4 T Dijon mustard
  • 2 T hoisin sauce
  • 2 T oyster sauce
  • 2 T honey or maple syrup
  • 2 T soy sauce
  • 2 T dry sherry (or wine) optional

Directions

  1. Place salmon in ovenproof dish, foil or paper-lined.

  2. Spread mustard on fillet.

  3. Mix remaining ingredients and brush salmon liberally with this.

  4. Any remaining can be used to baste fish during cooking.

  5. Place dish in oven, pre-heated to 180oC and bake approx 20 minutes, until salmon is just cooked.
