Winter Warming Salve

Ingredients

  • Black Pepper essential oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon Naked Salve

Directions

  1. Black Pepper is anti-inflammatory, analgesic and stimulates circulation. Even though it’s considered a warming oil, it’s not a hot oil, a big benefit should it get near the eyes (think kids!).

  2. This is how I used it with great success: After shoveling snow for a half hour my finger tips were throbbing with cold – I had to go inside to warm up! Noticing my freshly made Naked Salve on the counter, I decided to put Black Pepper to the test. 1/4 teaspoon Naked Salve in palm of my hand and 2 drops Black Pepper – made sure I massaged my throbbing fingertips first, I then rubbed my hands together for a minute.

  3. Pain disappeared, hands warmed and back in the gloves they went! Pretty amazing and one trick I’ll be sure to employ before I start shoveling even MORE snow today
