Ingredients

  • 1 5oz. pkg. Instant vanilla pudding
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 can Eagle Brand Milk
  • 1 Sm. tub Cool Whip
  • 1 8 oz. tub sour cream
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1 box Nilla Wafers (or more, buy 2 to be safe)
  • 5-6 Med. bananas, sliced

Directions

  1. Mix instant pudding and milk together in a large bowl; beat until smooth.
  2. Add Eagle Brand milk, sour cream, cool whip, and vanilla extract and beat until smooth.
  3. Line bottom of a 9×13 glass pan with a single layer of wafers, then place a banana slice on top of each wafer.
  4. Spoon enough pudding over wafers and bananas to just cover them.
  5. Add another layer of wafers and bananas on top of the pudding.
  6. Add remaining pudding mixture on top of that layer of wafers and banana slices, being sure to cover them completely.
  7. Top it off with another layer f wafers and banana slices. Cover and refrigerate. Try to let it chill overnight. (at least a couple of hours), so the wafers have time to soften.
  8. That is, if you can keep the family out of it that long.

  9. Hint: if you want to slice bananas all at once, slice them into a bowl, and sprinkle them with fruit fresh or lemon juice, and toss gently. They’ll stay pretty longer without turning brown.
