Carrot stoemp

Ingredients

  • 500g potatoes
  • 1 large carrot, chopped
  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 80ml milk

Directions

  1. Quarter the potatoes and put in a pan of cold water over a medium heat with the carrot. Bring to the boil then simmer for 20 minutes, or until tender. Drain well and return to the pan, off the heat. Add the butter, season, and mash coarsely. Add the milk and beat with a wooden spoon. Serve.
