Tomato Mushroom Stroganoff

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. sirloin steak, cut into 1/4-inch strips
  • 1 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 1/4 cup white vinegar
  • 2 cups sliced fresh mushrooms
  • 1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 4 cups hot cooked wide noodles

Directions

  1. In a skillet, in two batches, brown beef; set aside.
  2. Add vinegar and mushrooms to skillet; cook until liquid is almost evaporated. Add tomato sauce and reserved beef. Bring to a boil; reduce heat, simmer 5 minutes. Remove from heat. Gradually stir in sour cream. Serve over hot cooked noodles.
