Ingredients
- 12 sticks string cheese, of your choice
- 1 egg
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 5 Tbsp. bread crumbs
- 2 Tbsp. Parmesan cheese
- Dollop of olive oil or cooking spray
Directions
- Cut cheese sticks in half to make 24 pieces. Freeze until completely solid.
- Beat the egg in a small bowl. Use another bowl to combine bread crumbs and Parmesan cheese.
- Dip frozen cheese sticks in flour, then egg, then in bread crumb mixture.
- Once all sticks are coated, place them on a baking sheet covered with foil and sprayed with cooking spray or brushed with olive oil.
- Bake in oven at 400 degrees about 4 minutes, or until crisp. Watch closely so they don’t melt completely.
