Fried Venison Steaks

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs. (1/2-inch thick) venison steaks
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup flour
  • Hot oil

Directions

  1. Run steaks through tenderizer or beat well with meat mallet.
  2. Marinate in buttermilk for a few minutes. Dredge in flour that has been seasoned with salt and pepper. Fry in hot oil until brown on both sides.
