Brown Sugar Smokies

Ingredients

  • 1 lb bacon, center cut
  • 1 (14oz) pkg smoked cocktail sausages
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line a large, rimmed baking sheet with foil.

  2. Cut bacon crosswise into thirds and wrap each third around a sausage. Skewer wrapped sausages individually on toothpicks. Arrange on baking sheet and sprinkle with brown sugar, pressing sugar into sausage.

  3. Bake , turning sausages over after 30 minutes, until bacon looks crisp and sugar is melted.
