Triple Chocolate Brownies Gift Jar

Ingredients

• 1 cup granulated sugar
• 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
• 1/3 cup white chocolate morsels
• 2/3 cup semisweet chocolate chips
• 1/3 cup packed light brown sugar
• 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa
• 1 cup unbleached all-purpose flour
• 1/2 tsp. salt

Directions

1. Gift Assembly: Into 1-quart (32 oz.) wide-mouth Mason jar, in the order above, evenly layer ingredients, packing ingredients in jar well whenever possible.
2. Recipe Card Baking Instructions: Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line a 9×9 inch metal baking pan with heavy-duty foil so that foil extends about 1 inch over sides od pan, lightly spray foil with nonstick cooking spray.
3. In large microwave-safe bowl, heat 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter in microwave oven on high 60 to90 seconds or until butter melts, stirring every 30 seconds.
4. Add 3 large eggs and, with whisk, beat until well blende. Add contents of jar, stir until mixture is well blended. Spread batter into prepared pan.
5. Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until wooden pick inserted 2 inches from side of pan comes ut almost clean. Cool in pan on wire rack. Using foil, lift bar in one piece and place on cutting board. Cut lengthwise into 4 strips, then cut each strip crosswise into 4 brownies.
