Sopapilla Cheesecake Pie

Ingredients

  • 2 (8 oz.) cans crescent roll dough
  • 3 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
  • 2 cups granulated sugar, divided use
  • 1 Tbsp. vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 Tbsp. ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup honey

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 350 degrees. Spray pan with Pam and then spread the dough from one can of the rolls in the bottom of a 9×13 inch pan, pressing the dough to fit the pan.
  2. Mix together the cream cheese, 1 1/2 cups of the sugar and vanilla; spread mixture over the dough layer.
  3. Cover this mixture with the remaining dough, stretching it fit.
  4. Pour the melted butter over the top; sprinkle with the remaining 1/2 cup sugar and the cinnamon.
  5. Bake 25 minutes or until golden brown.
  6. Remove from the oven and drizzle with honey. Cool completely in the pan before cutting into 12 sqaures
