Sloppy Tacos

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. ground beef sirloin
  • 1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
  • 3/4 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. ground black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp. ground red pepper (cayenne)
  • 1/2 cup diced avocado
  • 2 cups shredded romaine lettuce
  • 4 Tbsp. sliced black olives, well drained
  • 12 taco shells, warmed according to package directions

Directions

  1. In a large skillet, cook beef over medium heat until no longer pink. Stir in the tomato sauce and spices. Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, for 10 minutes.
  2. To serve, fill each taco shell with 1/4 cup of beef mixture, some diced avocado, shredded lettuce and black olives.
