Grape Preserves

Ingredients

  • 4 lb. Concord grapes
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 3 cups sugar

Directions

  1. Wash grapes and remove skins and seeds.
  2. This can be done by pressing through a fruit press, and then straining out seeds, but keep pulp. Boil sugar and water together 5 minutes, add grape pulp and cook until thick and clear. Pour into hot jars and seal at once.

  3. makes 2 pints.
