Sherry Wine Jelly

Ingredients

  • 2 envelopes unflavored gelatin
  • 1/2 cup cold water
  • 1 3/4 cups very hot water
  • 3/4 cups sugar
  • 1 1/4 cup sherry wine
  • 1/2 cup strained orange juice
  • 1/4 cup strained lemon juice
  • 9-10 drops red food coloring

Directions

  1. Soften gelatin on cold water. Add hot water and sugar. Stir until dissolved. Stir in remaining ingredients.
  2. Pour into oiled 1-quart mold. Chill until firm. Unmold; serve with whipped cream.
