Tuna Supper Dish

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 3 cups milk
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 6.5 oz. can tuna, drained
  • 1 can of green peas, drained

Directions

  1. Melt butter in heavy pan. Blend flour into melted butter and allow to simmer for one minute.
  2. Remove pan from heat; add cold milk. Bring pan back to medium heat and stir sauce until it begins to bubble.
  3. Salt and pepper to taste. Add drained tuna and peas. Bring only to boiling stage and serve immediately on hot buttered toast.
