Tarte au Sucre et Oeufs

Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • pinch salt
  • 3/4 cup shortening
  • 4 tbsp milk
  • 2 oz butter, melted
  • 8 oz evaporated milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 tbsp flour
  • 2 cups brown sugar

Directions

  1. Mix flour, salt, shortening and milk to make a thick crust in a 9" pie shell.

  2. Temper the eggs in the melted butter, add evaporated milk. Mix flour and sugar, beat in wet ingredients.

  3. Bake at 350F for 40 minutes.
