Sue’s Ooey Gooey Butter Cake

Ingredients

  • 3 eggs, divided use
  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 ( 8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
  • 1 (16 oz.) pkg. confectioners' sugar

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a jellyroll pan.
  2. Lightly beat one of the eggs, then combine it with the cake mix and melted butter; press mixture into the bottom of the prepared jellyroll pan.
  3. Mix the cream cheese, remaining eggs and confectioners’ sugar thoroughly, then spread mixture over cake dough. Bake 16 to 20 minutes. Cool on a wire rack before cutting and serving.
