Granola

Ingredients

  • Ingredients:
  • 1/2 c. Chopped macadamia nuts
  • 1/3 c. Sliced almonds
  • 1/4 c. Chopped pecans
  • 1/4 c. Sunflower seeds
  • 1/4 c. Pumpkin seeds
  • 1/8 c. Golden and black flaxseed EACH
  • 3 c. Rolled oats (must be old-fashion kind)
  • 1/4 c. Mini cinnamon chips (optional!)
  • *if I don't have these I usually sprinkle some cinnamon into the bowl
  • 1/4 T salt
  • 1/2 c. Canola oil (or safflower!)
  • 1/2 c. Pure maple syrup
  • 1/2 c. Oat flour
  • 1/2 T pure vanilla (Im usually extra generous)

Directions

  1. Directions:

  2. eheat oven to 350.

  3. Mix all dry ingredients (except salt and oat flour) in large bowl.

  4. In another bowl, Mix WELL salt, oil, syrup, oat flour and vanilla with whisk until no lumps. Then mix this slowly into the dry ingredients.

  5. Spread mix very evenly into baking sheet (I always line with parchment paper first or else it’s bad news)

  6. Bake for about 30 minutes but watch regularly. Best to remove when it’s a little less than golden Brown. Let cool and then break into pieces!

  8. (Ps you can get creative too… I’ve used dried cranberries, chocolate chips, coconut shavings, chia seeds…. !)
