Ingredients

  • 1 egg, slightly beaten
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 8 teaspoons paprika
  • 4 tablespoons sesame seeds
  • 1/2 cup margarine, melted
  • 3 pounds chicken pieces (skin on)

Directions

  1. TIP: Purchase sesame seeds at either a Mexican or Oriental market…lots cheaper. Also I usually make more breading than I need as I will freeze any left overs in a zip lock bag.

  2. Combine egg and milk

  3. Sift together flour, baking powder, salt and paprika. Mix sesame seeds with dry ingredients.

  4. Melt butter in baking dish.

  5. Dip chicken pieces in egg mixture, then in dry mixture, coating thoroughly.

  6. Place skin side down in single layer, in melted butter in baking dish.

  7. Bake at 400 degrees for 25 minutes. Turn and baste with drippings.

  8. Continue baking 30 minutes or until tender.
