Chicken or Pork Marinades (two recipes)

If you don’t want to make your own marinade as listed by recipe below you can use “Yoshida’s Gourmet Sauce” that you purchase from “Sam’s”. Use the Yoshida’s as it is out of the bottle or to enhance this add 1 clove garlic minced and some parsley flakes.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/3 cup dry sherry (or any other wine)
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup wine vinegar or apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic minced or pressed
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger

Directions

  1. This is great for marinating chicken breasts for broiling or for pork chops.

  2. Combine all ingredients in jar…shake.

  3. FOR AN EASIER ALTERNATIVE: Use the “Yoshida’s” Gourmet Sauce" or even your favorite sweet teriyaki sauce.

  4. Add crushed garlic and finely minced parsley. Use this as your marinade.
