Linda’s Christmas Eve Punch

(from Coker Family’s recipe box)

THIS IS WHAT I USED TO USE…I NOW USE VALARIE’S FALSE CHAMPAGNE PUNCH IN THIS BOOK
This is an old recipe from the ’70’s. This used to be my tried and true punch that I always made for Christmas Parties…but now I use the much easier “False Champagne” punch, recipe in this book.

Ingredients

  • 46 ounce can pineapple-grapefruit juice
  • 46 ounce can pineapple-orange juice
  • 2 each 18 ounce can apple juice
  • 2 quarts of cold ginger ale

Directions

  1. Pour over ice ring in punch bowl.

  2. Tip: The amounts and items used to be available…now I get whatever I can in close approximate amounts. For instance, Pineapple-grapefruit juice isn’t available any more, so I buy pineapple juice and pink grapefruit juice. Try to avoid CANS and use plastic, glass or even cartons from the refrigerated section of the grocery store. It gets a little confusing when you get to the grocery store…bring your “math brains” with you so you can add and divide the ounces of each flavor needed. Anything close and the punch tastes great!
