Mother’s Kosher Pickless

Ingredients

  • 1 quart vinegar
  • 7 quarts water
  • 1 pint salt
  • 2-3 cloves garlic
  • Dill weed
  • 1 pod hot pepper, optional

Directions

  1. Pack cucumbers into hot jars; put in garlic and dill. Bring water, vinegar and salt to a rolling boil; pour over cucumbers. Put a grape leaf on top (for crispness). Cap jars with hot lids.
