Pink Lady Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 box white cake mix
  • 1 box strawberry Jell-O
  • 1/2 cup water, plus 2 Tbsp.
  • 1 cup cooking oil
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 15.5 oz. pkg. frozen strawberries (save remainder for cake icing)
  • Icing:
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 lb. powdered sugar
  • 1/2 bag frozen strawberries

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Place cake mix, dry Jell-O, oil, eggs and water into Large bowl; mix well. Bake in a 9 × 13 inch pan for 30 minutes. (If using a Bundt pan, bake for 40 minutes).
  3. Icing: Melt butter, stir in powdered sugar, add remaining strawberries. Adjust sugar if needed and stir until smooth. Spread over cooled cake.
