Poppy seed vinaigrette

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp poppy seeds
  • 1/4 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 finely chopped small shallot

Directions

  1. Dry-fry the poppy seeds in a non-stick pan over a high heat for 1 minute, until lightly toasted. In a small bowl, whisk the mustard and balsamic vinegar. Gradually whisk in the olive oil. Stir in the seeds and shallot.
