Very Vanilla ice Cream

Ingredients

  • 3 egg yolks
  • 2/3 cup superfine granulated sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. white corn syrup
  • 2 cups half and half
  • 2 cups whipped cream
  • 4 tsp. vanilla extract

Directions

  1. In a medium bowl, beat the egg yolks with the sugar and syrup until thick and lemon-colored. Add the remaining ingredients and stir until blended.
  2. Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn following manufacturer’s directions, about 35 minutes.
