Ingredients
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 cups milk, scalded
- 1 1/2 cups bread crumbs
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. cloves
- 1/2 tsp. allspice
- 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1 cup raisins
- 1 Tbsp. melted butter
Directions
- Combine ingredients in order given; mix thoroughly. Pour into greased baking dish; set in pan of water. Bake in moderate oven (350 degrees), 45 minutes or until firm. Serve hot with Coffee or Raisin Sauce.
