Warm Brownie Pudding

Ingredients

  • 1 (19.5 oz.) pkg. fudge brownie mix
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 1/2 cups firmly packed light brown sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. unsweetened coca powder
  • 1 1/2 cups boiling water
  • ice cream or whipped cream (optional)

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease two 9-inch square baking dishes.
  2. Combine the brownie mix, oil, eggs and 1/4 cup water in a medium bowl. Mix well, about 1 minutes. Divide the batter evenly between the prepared baking dished.
  3. Combine the brown sugar and cocoa in a small bowl. Mix well. Sprinkle half of the brown sugar mixture evenly over the batter
  4. in each baking dish.

  5. Pour half the boiling water on top of the brown sugar mixture in each baking dish.
  6. Bake the pudding until set, about 23 minutes. Serve with ice cream or whipped cream, if desired.
