  • 4 envelopes Knox unflavored gelatin
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 cups apple juice, heat to boiling
  • 1/2 cup caramel or butterscotch flavored ice cream topping
  • 1 1/2 cups chopped peeled apple


  1. In large bowl, mix Knox gelatin and sugar; add hot juice and stir until gelatin is completely dissolved.
  2. Blend in ice cream topping and apples. Pour into 8 or 9-inch square pan and chill until firm.
  3. To serve, cut into 1-inch squares.
  4. Store tightly covered, in the refrigerator.
  5. makes about 6 dozen
