Apricot Cream Mold

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. 14oz apricot halves
  • 3 oz. pkg. orange-flavored gelatin
  • 1/2 cup Miracle Whip salad dressing
  • 1 cup heavy cream, whipped
  • 1 3oz. pkg. orange-flavor gelatin
  • 1 3oz. pkg. lemon-flavor gelatin
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 1 1/4 cup cold ginger ale
  • 1/3 cup toasted slivered almonds

Directions

  1. Drain apricots, reserving syrup. Dissolve gelatin in 1 cup boiling syrup. Cool. Gradually
  2. add to Miracle Whip, mix well. Fold in cream. Pour into 2 -quart mold, chill till almost firm.

  3. Dissolve gelatins in boiling water; add ginger ale. Chill slightly thickened; fold in 1 1/2 cup apricots and almonds. Pour over molded layer. Chill until firm Unmold; garnish.
