Cranberry Cream Cheese Mold

Ingredients

  • 1 lg. or 2 small pkg. Jell-O Brand Cranberry Flavor gelatin (or any red flavor)
  • 1 1/2 cups boiling water
  • 1 cup whole berry cranberry sauce
  • 1 (8oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened

Directions

  1. In a large bowl place gelatin. Stir in boiling water for 2 minutes or until completely
  2. dissolved. Stir in cold water and cinnamon.

  3. Pour 2 cups of gelatin into medium bowl. Refrigerate 1- 1 1/2 hours or until thickened (spoon drawn through leaves impression). Reserve remaining gelatin at room temperature
  4. Stir apple and cranberry sauce into thickened gelatin. Spoon into 6-cup mold.
  5. Refrigerate 4 hours or until firm. Unmold; serve.
  6. To prepare without cream cheese layer:

  7. Refrigerate all of the gelatin about 1 1/2 hours or until thickened. Stir in apple and cranberry sauce. Pour into mold. Refrigerate.
