Ingredients
- 1 c butter (or margarine)
- 1 c oil
- 2 c white sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 4 1/4 c flour
- 1 tsp soda
- 1 tsp cream of tartar
Directions

Cream the butter, oil, sugar and salt together.

Add the remaining ingredients and mix well.

Use 1 tsp. or 1 T dough. Make balls and put on ungreased cookie sheet. Dip

glass in sugar and flatten. Bake at 375 degrees for 8 minutes.
