Slow Cooker Venison and Broccoli

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. venison, thinly sliced
  • I cup beef broth
  • 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. sesame oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 2 Tbsp. water
  • 16 oz. bag frozen broccoli, thawed
  • cooked rice (optional)

Directions

  1. Mix venison, broth, onion, soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil and garlic in slow cooker. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours. Mix cornstarch and water until smooth. Add to cooker; stir. Add broccoli; stir. Cook 20 minutes or until mixture is thick. Serve over rice or by itself.
