Shrimp and Andouille Sausage w/Mustard Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 (12oz) package angel hair pasta
  • 1/2 lb Andouille Sausage, sliced
  • 3/4 lb medium shrimp, p&d
  • 4 T Green Onions, chopped
  • 1 C Mushrooms, Sliced
  • 1 C Peppers, Green or Red, diced
  • 3 T Minced Garlic
  • 1/2 C White Wine
  • 1 1/2C Heavy Cream
  • 1 1/2 T Good Mustard
  • 1 t Worcestershire
  • 1 t Chouloula
  • season to taste

Directions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook pasta to al dente, 6-8 min.

  2. Place sausage in deep skillet over medium heat. Cook and stir until evenly browned; drain. Mix in shrimp, green onions, mushrooms, peppers and garlic. Cook about 1 min(shrimp should be opaque). Remove from skillet and set aside.

  3. ur wine into skillet and reduce by 1/2. Mix in heavy cream, reduce by 1/3. Stir in mustard, worcestershire and chouloula. Season w/ salt and pepper.

  4. Return sausage mixture to skillet and blend with sauce. Cook and stir until heated through.

  5. Serve over pasta!
