Peppermint Stick Ice Cream

Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup (1/2 can) Eagle Brand sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup crushed peppermint stick candy

Directions

  1. Mix Eagle Brand milk and water. Chill
  2. Whip cream to custard-like consistency. Fold into chilled mixture. Pour into freezer-safe container. Cover with waxed paper.
  3. Freeze to a firm mush, about 1 hour.
  4. Turn into chilled bowl. Break up with fork then beat with rotary beater until fluffy but not melted. Fold in crushed candy.
  5. Quickly return to container, cover with waxed paper. Return to freezer. Freeze until firm.
