One-Pan Mexican-Style Beef Bake

Ingredients

  • 2 Cups Bisquick Baking Mix
  • 2/3 Cup milk
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 pound Ground beef (Cooked and drained)
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 cup Chopped onion
  • 1-2 Tablespoons Chili Powder
  • 1 Cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • 2 Tomatoes (Chopped)

Directions

  1. 1) Heat Oven to 375 degrees

  2. 2) Mix baking mix, milk and eggs in a greased rectangular baking dish, 11×7×1 1/2" with a fork until uniform color (batter will be lumpy).

  3. 3) Stir in beef, onion, and seasonings; spread evenly.

  4. 4) Bake uncovered until top springs back when touched lightly in center (25-30 minutes).

  5. 5) Sprinkle with cheese and tomatoes.

  6. 6) Bake until just cheese is melted (1-2 minutes longer)

  7. 7) Serve with Taco sauce, dairy sour cream or guacamole if desired.

  8. Can Mix in bowl if desired

  9. High Alt. Heat oven to 400 degrees
