Skillet Lasagna

Ingredients

  • 1 pound Ground Beef
  • 2 Tablespoons Margarine
  • 1 Envelope Spaghetti Sauce mix
  • 24 oz Cottage Cheese (creamed)
  • 3 Cups Broad Noodles (uncooked)
  • 2 teaspoons basil
  • 1 Tablespoon Chopped parsley
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1-lb can Tomatoes
  • 1 8oz Can Tomato Sauce
  • 8 ounces mozzarella Cheese
  • 1 Cup Water

Directions

  1. 1) Cook meat and Margarine in 12 inch skillet until it looses its red color.

  2. 2) Sprinkle on half of Spaghetti sauce mix

  3. 3) Spoon Cottage cheese over meat

  4. 4) Top With Noodles and sprinkle with remaining sauce mix, basil, parsley and salt.

  5. 5) Pour tomatoes, tomato sauce and 1 cup water over noodles.

  6. 6) Bring to a Boil

  7. 7) Cover and Simmer (below 260 degrees) for 35 minutes or until noodles are tender.

  8. 8) Melt mozzarella cheese on top
