No More “Chili” Nights

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lbs ground beef
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2-15.5 oz cans red kidney beans, drained
  • 29 oz can tomato sauce
  • 14.5 oz can diced tomatoes with green peppers, celery and onions
  • 14.5 oz can diced tomatoes and onions
  • 1.75 cups water
  • 10 oz can diced tomatoes and green chilies
  • 1/2 green bell pepper, chopped
  • 3 tbsp chili powder
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp minced garlic
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • Shredded cheese
  • Crackers

Directions

  1. Brown ground beef and onion in large skillet over medium-high heat 6-8 minutes, stirring to break up meat. Drain fat. Transfer meat mixture to crock pot.

  2. Add remaining ingredients. Stir well to combine. Cover and cook on LOW 8-10 hrs. Garnish with cheese and bell pepper. Serve with crackers.
