Beef Stew

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • salt and pepper
  • 2 onions, sliced
  • 4 lbs beef chuck, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 2 cups red wine
  • 1 cup fresh Italian parsley, minced
  • 6 tsp minced garlic
  • 4 whole bay leaves

Directions

  1. Mix flour, salt and pepper. Dredge beef in flour. Heat oil in skillet over medium until hot. Brown beef on all sides. Transfer to crock pot.

  2. All remaining ingredients and stir well to combine. Cover and cook on LOW 4 to 6 hrs.
