Chocolate-Strawberry truffles

  • 2 pkg. (4oz. each) Baker's Semi-sweet chocolate
  • 1 pkg. (3oz.) Jell-O Strawberry Flavor gelatin
  • 1 tub (8z.) Cool Whip whipped topping, thawed
  • Suggested coatings:
  • Toasted Baker's Angel Flake coconut
  • powdered sugar
  • finely chopped pecan,
  • grated Semi-Sweet Chocolate
  • unsweetened cocoa powder
  • colored sprinkles


  1. Microwave chocolate in large microwavable bowl on high 2 minutes or until chocolate is almost melted, or until completely melted.
  2. Add dry gelatin mix; stir 2 minutes until completely dissolved. Cool to room temperature. Gently stir in Cool Whip. Refrigerate 2 hours or until mixture is firm enough to handle.
  3. Scoop mixture into 1-inch balls; place on waxed paper-covered baking sheet. Refrigerate 1 hour. Working with a few balls at a time, roll in your choice of suggested coatings.
  4. Store in airtight container in refrigerator.
