Quick Chocolate Frosting

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. Hearth Cub Corn Starch
  • 2 1-oz. square unsweetened chocolate, grated
  • Dash of salt
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 3 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract

Directions

  1. Mix sugar and corn starch in a saucepan, add chocolate and salt. Add boiling water, cook, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens. Remove from heat; blend in butter and vanilla. Spread on cake while hot for glossy frosting which remains soft and smooth.
