Spicy Pot Roast

Ingredients

  • 1 yellow onion
  • 4 large white potatoes
  • 4 lb pot roast
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/4 cup dry white wine
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 2 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire
  • 1 package brown gravy mix
  • 1/8 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Directions

  1. Peel and chop the onion into 1/4-inch pieces. Peel the potatoes and cut in half lengthwise.

  2. Place all ingredients except the pot roast in the slow cooker; stir well. Add the pot roast. Cover and cook on LOW 8-10 hrs.
