Coconut Fudge

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 sticks margarine or butter
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • dash of salt
  • 1 lb. box powdered sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups coconut
  • 6oz. pkg. semi-sweet chocolate morsels

Directions

  1. melt margarine, add vanilla and salt. Empty into a large mixing bowl and add powdered sugar. Stir until moist, then add coconut. Knead until well mixed. Put in flan pan and spread evenly. Melt semi-sweet chocolate morsels. Spread over coconut mixture and let set. Cut into squares.
